Headquartered in Tacoma, Washington, with additional operations in Centralia and Lacey, Sutter Metals is a founder-led regional operator specializing in the collection, sorting, and processing of metals for remanufacturing.

The partnership is expected to support the expansion of ReElement’s refining operations in the United States through feedstock sourcing, tolling arrangements, and potential offtake agreements.

The new phase will extend operations to Kano State, alongside ongoing activities in Lagos and Anambra.

Coordinated by AIMPLAS, the consortium brought together 18 partners across the bioplastics value chain.

Aduro’s participation comes as it progresses the development of its first industrial-scale facility in Europe.

The plant, constructed in approximately six months, has an annual processing capacity of more than 1,500 tonnes of battery waste.
