We Recycle Solar and Nations Roof Partner to Advance Rooftop Sustainability

According to a joint announcement, We Recycle Solar, a leading solar panel recycling company, has entered a strategic partnership with Nations Roof, one of the United States’ premier commercial roofing contractors, to accelerate rooftop sustainability initiatives nationwide. The collaboration aims to help commercial property owners responsibly retire aging rooftop solar systems while preparing their buildings for the next generation of energy-efficient infrastructure.
The partnership, according to the report, combines We Recycle Solar’s EPA-permitted, zero-landfill recycling process with Nations Roof’s extensive installation and maintenance expertise, supported by a team of over 1,100 professionals and an industry-leading safety record (0.47 EMR). Together, the two companies will deliver a fully compliant, ESG-aligned solution for the entire lifecycle of rooftop renewable assets — from decommissioning to material recovery and roof renewal.
Industry observers note that the partnership provides commercial clients with an integrated solution for certified solar recycling, safe panel removal, and roof renewal. It represents an early but important step in merging solar decommissioning with roof lifecycle management—a service model still emerging in the commercial infrastructure sector.
“This partnership is about more than just roofing—it’s about helping customers manage the full lifecycle of their rooftop assets responsibly,” said Robert Speights, CEO of Nations Roof. “Together, we're delivering sustainability at scale.”
Adam Saghei, CEO of We Recycle Solar, was quoted as saying that the partnership “represents a major step toward a circular economy—where every solar panel and every rooftop can contribute to a cleaner, greener future.”
Analysts view this collaboration as part of a broader transformation in the renewable energy sector, where focus is shifting from installation toward long-term lifecycle management. As federal and state governments tighten renewable energy and waste regulations, integrated solutions like this are expected to play a key role in reducing landfill waste and advancing national decarbonization goals.
It is also reported that solar panels installed in the early 2010s are now beginning to reach end-of-life, a trend that industry forecasts suggest could push the U.S. solar panel recycling market into the multibillion-dollar range by the early 2030s.
The partnership between We Recycle Solar and Nations Roof thus represents a pivotal step for sustainable infrastructure in the United States, merging technological innovation with operational scale to redefine how rooftop assets are managed, renewed, and recycled for a cleaner future.
