Recover™ and Prosperity Textile Form Denim Partnership to Scale Recycled Cotton Fabrics

April 17, 2026

Spain-based recycled fiber producer Recover has entered a strategic partnership with denim manufacturer Prosperity Textile to develop and scale recycled cotton-based denim fabrics for global brands.

According to company reports, the collaboration will focus on producing a new range of denim fabrics under the Recover Fabrics platform, with manufacturing based in Vietnam. The partners said the initiative is designed as a flexible, production-ready model that can adapt to varying customer requirements, volumes and end-use applications.

Recover supplies recycled cotton fiber, while Prosperity Textile contributes fabric development and large-scale manufacturing capabilities. The companies aim to combine consistent recycled inputs with industrial production processes to deliver fabrics that meet performance, quality and lead-time expectations.

Prosperity Textile operates as a vertically integrated denim supplier, with experience in high-volume production. Recover, which specializes in recycled cotton fibers, has been expanding its partnerships to move recycled materials from niche collections into mainstream textile supply chains.

The partnership is intended to support broader adoption of circular materials in denim, a segment where brands are under increasing pressure to reduce environmental impact while maintaining product standards. By offering scalable, ready-to-produce fabrics, the companies aim to address barriers related to consistency and supply reliability.

Recover chief executive Anders Sjöblom said the collaboration is focused on enabling brands to integrate recycled materials into core product lines rather than limited collections. He noted that aligning with a manufacturing partner at scale is key to meeting industry requirements.

Stafford Lau said the partnership combines material innovation with production efficiency, allowing the companies to deliver high-volume fabrics that meet commercial and sustainability expectations.

Initial fabric developments will be presented through sample garments at the Kingpins Amsterdam exhibition, showcasing potential applications across different denim products.

The move reflects growing demand for circular textile solutions as brands face tighter sustainability targets and increased scrutiny over raw material sourcing, particularly cotton.
