CRRE 2026 to Strengthen International Recycling Partnerships With Egyptian Delegation

According to industry reports, the Circular Resources and Recycling Expo (CRRE) 2026 is set to bring together recycling companies, technology providers and industry professionals from China and overseas, with an Egyptian delegation of about 40 executives expected to attend as part of a new China-Egypt cooperation initiative.

CRRE 2026 will take place from November 25-27 at the Suzhou International Expo Center in Suzhou, China. The event is jointly organized by the China National Resources Recycling Association (CRRA) and Adsale Group and is designed to connect recycling industry stakeholders with technologies, equipment and business opportunities across the resource recovery value chain.

The 2026 edition is expected to feature more than 200 exhibitors, with exhibition and conference programs covering a broad range of recycling segments. These include metals, plastics, textiles, electronics, batteries, automotive components, solar modules and wind turbine blades.

The expo combines industry conferences with an on-site trade exhibition, providing a platform for companies to present recycling technologies and equipment while holding commercial discussions with potential customers and partners. Its international focus is also reflected in planned cooperation with overseas industry organizations and delegations.

As part of this effort, CRRE organizers have signed a strategic cooperation memorandum of understanding with Eco Green Waste Management (EGWM) and the E-Waste Committee under the Federation of Egyptian Industries (EWC-FEI). The agreement focuses on technology development and business matching between Chinese and Egyptian companies.

An Egyptian delegation of approximately 40 industry executives is expected to visit CRRE 2026 under the cooperation. The group will be led by Ahmed Salem, chairman of EGWM and EWC-FEI and CEO of Egyptian Electronics Recycling Co. (EERC).

Delegates are expected to represent sectors including plastics recycling, e-waste processing, power battery recycling, textile recycling and municipal solid waste treatment. EERC and Ertekaa are among the companies expected to participate.

During the exhibition, the delegation plans to explore recycling equipment and technology in several areas, including e-waste collection and processing, printed circuit board (PCB) precious-metal recovery, lead-acid and lithium-ion battery recycling, waste tire processing, textile recycling and municipal solid waste sorting.

The planned participation provides CRRE exhibitors with an opportunity to engage directly with Egyptian recycling companies seeking processing systems and equipment. It also expands the event’s role as a business-matching platform connecting technology suppliers with overseas recycling markets.

Ahmed Salem has also been appointed a CRRE Global Brand Ambassador. In connection with the partnership, he said EGWM and EWC-FEI welcome Chinese recycling enterprises, technology suppliers and investment institutions to explore opportunities in Egypt and the wider Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

CRRE organizers said the expo will continue to focus on international cooperation and value-chain integration as it expands its industry coverage. The 2026 event will bring together stakeholders from multiple recycling sectors under a single exhibition and conference platform.
