ColombiaPlast Set to Return to Bogotá in September 2026 with Expanded Offerings

According to a recent announcement from Messe Düsseldorf North America, ColombiaPlast—the International Plastics and Rubber Trade Fair—will return to Bogotá from September 21 to 25, 2026. The event will once again be held in conjunction with the Bogotá International Industrial Trade Fair (FIB) at the Corferias Exhibition Center.

Co-organized by Corferias, the Colombian Plastics Association (Acoplásticos), and Messe Düsseldorf North America, ColombiaPlast is part of the K Alliance—a global network of plastics and rubber trade fairs under the Messe Düsseldorf umbrella.

Recognized as the leading industry platform in Colombia, the Andean region, Central America, and the Caribbean, ColombiaPlast plays a pivotal role in showcasing advancements across the plastics, rubber, petrochemical, packaging, and container sectors. Thanks to Colombia’s strategic location and economic potential, the event is expected to attract a wide range of regional and international stakeholders, including manufacturers, distributors, trade agencies, importers, exporters, and wholesalers. Attendees will span key sectors such as packaging, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, automotive, construction, cosmetics, and industrial design.

According to the event website, ColombiaPlast 2026 will feature a diverse array of exhibits, including:

Machinery and equipment;

3D Printing;

Tools and maintenance;

Instrumentation and process control;

Research and development;

Circular economy;

Industry-related services;

Recycling solutions;

Sustainable production solutions.

Organizers have also confirmed the return of several interactive Experience Zones aimed at fostering innovation and hands-on learning.

In addition to the main exhibition, ColombiaPlast 2026 will offer a comprehensive supporting program, including technical conferences, educational workshops, and business matchmaking sessions, providing valuable networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities.

At the previous edition held in 2024, 297 exhibitors from 18 countries presented their innovations to approximately 40,000 visitors, including those attending FIB. The 2026 edition is anticipated to surpass these figures, reinforcing ColombiaPlast’s growing relevance on the international stage.
